Planes of Tlessa

Faction loyalty automation

Faction Loyalty is an in-game system where, after maxing out a faction for a particular plane, you can do tasks for the NPCs on that plane, such as bounty and crafting tasks.
These tasks can be done manually if you wish. The only slight issue is that they can take a while to complete. Each NPC has a total of 25 levels, and each level requires 6 tasks to be completed: 3 crafting tasks and 3 bounty tasks.

The number of items to craft or monsters to kill depends on the number rolled on the back end. This can lead to a lot of bounties and crafting tasks for a single level. Completing all tasks gains one level for the NPC and gives the player a reward. You can read more in the Faction Loyalty help docs.

This document will explain what Faction Loyalty Automation is and how it helps you complete these tasks without having to manually click. Faction Loyalty is exceptionally important for completing quests that are gated behind it. Quests, as you may know by now, block access to game content. Tlessa does not gate content behind money; it gates content behind time investment.

What is Faction Loyalty Automation

Faction Loyalty Automation is exactly what it sounds like: automating this part of the game. However, there are some pretty severe restrictions placed on you, such as:

  • You cannot move in any form through any of the map actions.

  • You cannot craft items, but you can still enchant, gem craft, use alchemy, and so on. Only item crafting is disabled.

  • You cannot set up Exploration, Delve, or manually fight creatures.

  • You cannot engage Celestials, whether they are private conjurations or public conjurations.

  • You cannot list items on the market or manage player skills or class ranks.

  • You cannot manage your kingdoms.

  • You cannot pledge to factions, stop assisting NPCs, or otherwise interact with Faction Loyalty, aside from stopping the automation.

When we automate, we do a few things:

  • We will either:

    • Craft all of one item type for an NPC, one at a time.

    • Fight all of one monster type, one at a time, within a one-minute period.

  • If we do crafting in one round, we will do fighting in the next round.

  • If we do fighting in one round, we will do crafting in the next round.

If you die while fighting a creature for an NPC bounty, you will automatically revive. We will then work up the list of monsters from the level of monster you can fight, based on the monster’s max level. This allows you to continuously gain skill XP if you are training a skill, as well as character XP, other forms of XP, gold, and rewards.

Once we determine that you can fight the bounty monster again, and you happen to die again to the bounty monster for that NPC, your Faction Loyalty Automation will end, and you will have to revive.

For crafting, if you fail to craft the item in question, we will train on items of that crafting type, starting from the highest-level item you can craft. These items will be automatically sold to the shop until you can craft the item required by the NPC.

If you run out of gold while crafting, we will switch to bounty tasks until you have enough gold. If we run out of bounties for the NPC and you still do not have enough gold, we will end the automation and tell you that the NPC in question does not like poor people.

Once you have completed all bounties and crafting requests for all NPCs, and leveled all NPCs to level 25 for a given plane, we will automatically traverse you to another map where you have not completed tasks, pledge you to that faction, assist an NPC, and continue.

We will keep doing this for you until one of the following happens:

  • You have no more tasks across any maps.

  • Eight hours have elapsed.

  • You have no gold for crafting and cannot continue.

  • You die after training on monsters and attempting the bounty request again.

Faction Loyalty Automation does take into account the Faction Loyalty Weekly Event that halves the required task amounts.

How to start Faction Loyalty Automation

You must have maxed out the faction for the map where you want to start the automation. Remember that factions have to be maxed manually and cannot be maxed through Exploration or Delve.

Once a faction is maxed out, you may begin Faction Loyalty Automation for that plane.

Simply head to the Faction Loyalty tab, which you can see to the right or bottom for mobile.

Next, select your attack type from the dropdown, or allow the default attack type of Attack.

Next, scroll to the bottom and click Automate Faction Loyalty. From here, you will be able to begin the automation.

This will automatically run for 8 hours or until one of the rules above is no longer satisfied.

Conclusion

Faction Loyalty Automation is designed to remove the tediousness of clicking from a system that is vital for mid-to-end-game progression. Because many quests require you to have specific levels of fame with the NPCs tied to those quests, this form of automation makes it much easier for players to progress through the system.
